ON THE RAILS

Dunellen Library
Ride the rails and learn about rail history. This program will be held in conjunction with the Heritage Trail Association of Somerset County. Our library will display a giant train set and provide refreshments for a round-trip train ride to Bridgewater in a special reserved train car. This is a perfect program for parents, grandparents, and children. TICKETS

RAIL SPEEDERS

In earlier times, "rail speeders" were used to inspect the rails. Now, they are used for pleasure rides along the train tracks of North America. Our featured speaker, David Sigafoose of the Volunteer Railroaders Association, will show a video of a journey the local rail speeder club took along a picturesque tract in Pennsylvania. He will also be bringing one of his favorite speeders which will be set up outside. FREE ADMISSION.
